Each summer, Pioneer Bible Camp needs approximately 30 summer staff and volunteers each week to assist in the various positions at camp. We are looking for people who love God, have a heart to serve, and desire to spread the Good News in Utah.

JOB DESCRIPTIONS
Program Coordinator
Our Program Coordinators assist the Program Director in leading the schedule for the campers and also encouragement and disciple our counseling staff. They may also be involved in skits and leading music. We generally ask former staff to be our PCs.
Op-Staff Counselor
Op-staff Counselors, formerly Maintenance Counselor and Housekeeping Counselor, lead the Op-staff teams in their daily tasks and invest in the teens individually. We look for cheerful servant-minded leaders to fill these roles.
Counselor
Counselors are entrusted with the care of the 6-8 campers in their cabins each week. They oversee the campers in their daily activities, lead them in a daily devotion time, talk one-on-one with each camper, and live exemplary lives before their campers.
Co-counselor
Younger staff may be paired up with a college-age counselor to learn how to be a counselor in the future. Sometimes, older counselors will be paired together as a team with one filling the role of a co-counselor.
Op-Staff
Formerly called housekeeping and maintenance, Op-Staff assist in running summer camp as well as provide general help with facilities upkeep, cleaning, dishes, and projects as needed. We are looking for people who are cheerful, hard-working, eager to serve, and willing to do whatever is needed to help make the camp experience excellent in all areas for our campers.
Photographer
The photographer's responsibilities include taking pictures, posting daily pictures on social media, compiling and posting a weekly video, and possibly putting together a summer review video. Some photography/videography experience and training would be helpful but is not required.

Summer expectations
Attend Staff Training week
We would like all staff to attend our Staff Training week at the beginning of the summer. The week of training is invaluable as we cover our policies and procedures, learn staff responsibilities, participate in team building activities, and hear from God’s Word.
Time Commitment
For your benefit and to better serve our campers, we would like all staff to commit to either a full summer or half the summer. The dates for serving are below:
Entire Summer: June 9-August 8
First half: June 9-July 11
Second half: June 9-13, July 14-Aug 8
If for some reason you need to miss a week or two during your selected time period, please let us know during the application process.
