what else do I need to do?

Thank you for turning in your volunteer form! Here are the next steps for potentially joining our team!

1. Save the URL of this page to your phone or computer

  • That way, you can check back to see if you have completed all the steps.

2. Contact your references

  • Contact two adult references who are not related to you.

  • Ask each of them to complete a recommendation for you. They can fill out this document and send it to the address on the form or call Anna at (801) 893-8121.

3. Send us a picture

  • Please email a recent picture of yourself to pbcutah@gmail.com.

  • Returning volunteers do not need to resend a picture.

4. Fill out your information for a background check.

  • We will send you an email from our background check organization with the following email address: message@mobilizemyministry.com. The subject line will read: “Pioneer Bible Camp is considering you for an opportunity.”

  • Please follow the link and submit your information so we can securely run your background check.

Once we run your background check and your references get back to us, we will contact you to confirm your volunteer position.

Further Information

Times:

  • Arrival: 10am on Monday or 11:30am if bringing campers

  • Departure: 10:00am on Friday (for YA weeks) or Saturday (for Teen/JH weeks)

  • If you have circumstances that prevent your arrival or departure at these times, please let us know so we can plan accordingly.

Dress code:

We will ask you to abide by this dress code during your time at camp.

Here is a suggested packing list for volunteers.

Accommodations:

Depending on your position and the amount of volunteers each week, we have the following accommodations available:

  • Staff cabin: either full or queen bed (linens provided) and an attached restroom.

  • Lodge room: twin beds (bring your own linens) with a restroom across the hall.

  • RV spot: if you have your own RV and would like to bring it, we have a few RV spots with full hookups. You will just need to check on the availability of a spot.

  • Rustic camper cabin: twin beds (bring your own linens) and central shower house.

    We will contact you ahead of time to let you know which accommodations you will have for the week.
